Students at the elementary school elected their Student Council
The Arab International Academy seeks to communicate and implement its vision and mission in every aspect of school life and aspires to develop a generation of future leaders who can act with integrity, respect the opinions of others, solve problems, make collaborative decisions, value community service, and inspire others in their dedication to the contemporary issues in society. Working towards this vision, the Academy provides students with an opportunity to become actively involved in the decision-making procedures of their school and enables them to make their voice heard, plan purposeful activities and take initiatives in their communities.
Students at the elementary school participated in the Student Council elections in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, interaction and competition. Students from the same grade level elected their grade representative at the end of the campaign period during which students presented their programs and delivered their speeches. During the second ballot, students from all grade levels took part in electing the Student Council President for this academic year. The Student Council board consisted of 10 members. During their first meeting, they established committees,
distributed the tasks and assigned roles for each member. Soon after, they met with the school’s principal to present their ideas and discuss their suggestions in relation to the activities they are planning to carry out this academic year.
