Messy Art Day in Kindergarten
AIA views art as a universal language that nurtures our children’s creativity and helps them express themselves freely. Last month, our little artists participated in an art project which aimed at nurturing learners’ creativity, promoting self-esteem, and sharpening social skills. The entire school community was hard at work decorating the walls with Arabic alphabets made from different materials and constructed using multiple techniques. Children were encouraged to tour the art stations with their parents, where some chose to draw their favorite story cover on canvas, some used clay to create a 3D model of their families, while others decided to create murals out of recycled bottle lids. The school community gathered to take a ceremonial photo in our safe and stimulating environment. Parents expressed their gratitude to AIA’s staff for their efforts in organizing the day’s activities.
