School Reopening During COVID19 Outbreak
In line with the decision of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Qatar, and all other related regulatory agencies aiding in school reopening and the return of in-person schooling, Arab International Academy has developed plans, practices, procedures, and processes to prepare for the start of the academic year under the new circumstances. There is no doubt that daily school life will be different than what we have grown to know. To ensure that the educational process continues during the pandemic, a set of practices and preventive measures have been put in place for our entire school community. Students and staff have been trained to implement those practices and preventive measures. AIA also issued a guide with all the relevant regulations. This guide, including its guidelines, instructions, procedures, and preventative measures, targets all of AIA's school community of students, parents, faculty and staff, partners, vendors, and visitors.
The Arab International Academy believes that the learning process's success under the current circumstances in a comprehensive manner is challenging yet feasible. It requires the efforts and dedication of the entire school community and parents' full cooperation and adherence to the guidelines mentioned herewith to educate our students better and keep them safe. We must also be well aware that these conditions are not normal for our students. In addition to the efforts that the Academy makes to overcome these obstacles and help integrate students into the teaching process under these conditions, parents have the additional tasks supporting said efforts, such as providing the needed emotional support to students. Parents are also encouraged to provide students with a stress-free environment and engage them in interactive at-home activities to compensate for their co-curricular school activities. We urge you to continue providing students with the necessary academic support and continue to communicate with the teachers to gauge their academic performance and guide their progress.
